Anne,
Cheri and I were saddened to hear about your Mom. Sharing a single memory of your Mom is difficult.
She was a good friend and a wonderful and supportive coworker. She was incredibly helpful as I began my teaching career. How many times she saved my butt I cannot tell you.
There was always time for a beverage or two in those early years and Chablis was popular choice!
I have nothing but fond memories and happy thoughts of her. Feel good, she lived a full and wonderful life.
With deepest sympathy,
Phil and Cheri

Some people come into our lives and leave their mark on our hearts forever. I am grateful that I could call Margaret a friend. She was very special person who always greeted you warmly with a genuine smile. At the start of my teaching career, Margaret provided me and many other new teachers with inspiration and guidance. I was fortunate to have been assigned to work with her at the Holcomb School during my student teaching assignment with the Key Cluster in 1973. Several years later, I had the opportunity to work with her again at the Geneseo Central School. Her influence shaped the remainder of my professional career.
Personally, Margaret loved to play golf. Although I didn't play myself, that did not stop her from inviting me to enjoy lunch with her at the Livingston County Golf Course where she introduced me to her favorite cocktail, scotch and water. Margaret possessed a beautiful spirit whose positive energy inspired everyone with whom she interacted! I will always cherish our friendship and remember the wonderful times that we shared!
Sincerely,
Bill Single

I shall miss always asking you how she was whenever I saw you.

Margaret sat next to me on Monday mornings for years and we both did our best to count money for ST. Mary's and balance the budget. She was a wonderful person and loved Geneseo. Margaret--May you be surrounded with His love for you and your love for Him.

My heartfelt condolences to Margaret’s family. I was blessed to work with her at Geneseo Elementary School. Her love of children and children’s literature was amazing. She helped the elementary library transition into a media center by incorporating a computer lab. I enjoyed interacting with her as a member of the Monday Evening Class. She was always a gracious, warm, and loving lady. I will miss seeing her. Rest In Peace.
