Pat was one of my dearest friends when we were both teaching at Honeoye. I taught music and Pat and I both had different locations over the years, but we almost always ate lunch together. Pat was so kind, helpful, caring and so much fun.You could always count on Pat. We shared many, many stories and laughs. They were great times. Pat was so very proud of her kids and her grandkids, justifiably so. I still think of her often and feel so fortunate to have known her. The last visit I had with Pat was when she lived at Morgan Estates. She was so happy to see me and I to see her. She called me by name immediately though we hadn't seen each other in quite a while. Her attitude was positive, though she was concerned about Ron, of course. Susie had reassured her that Dad was in the best place and Pat did enjoy seeing him, though she understood they couldn't be together. God bless her. I will always think fondly of Pat.
With love-
Marcia Johnston

Dear Tim & Susie,
My sincere condolences. Pat, Mrs. Scott, "the whip" was one of the pillars of our community. I was somewhat intimidated by her. I always listened very closely when she spoke. Not because she was mean or domineering. But because she was direct and always spot on when letting you know what her thoughts were. Her friendship to our family when my mothers health declined will always be appreciated. I will remember her as the epitome of a mother, wife and community member.

Dear Ron, Susie and Tim,
I read of your sweet mothers passing and wanted to share with you the loving memories I have of her. As my room mate across the hall at Honeoye for 10 years, she made it a very special time. I loved her kind, caring nature, killer sense of humor and the true sense of friendship she brought to our hallway. Always a good sport, ready for any crazy ideas we younger girls came up with. Throughout those years I probably knew more about her two darling children than you can imagine! I never tired of her stories and recounted escapades the two of you had. She was so rightly proud of both of you. Susie, when you got the assignment of driving cars back and forth to Detroit your mom would pop in my room and give me the word to start praying for a safe trip; followed by a peek in my door later on with a thumbs up that you made it safely. Tim, she was so excited when you were assigned to Hawaii, but maybe just a bit sad that it would be so far away. We reminded her what fun she’d have visiting!
My prayers and thoughts are with both of you, your dad and children. She was a great lady who I’ll hold in my heart forever. God’s the lucky one to now have her back with him!
