I am saddened to learn of Meg's death. She was my best friend when we were graduate students at Duke, and my maid of honor at my wedding. Sadly, we lost touch after I moved to Australia. She was a person of principle--she stood up!
Meg was a tireless advocate for the faculty members whom she supported through our union, United University Professions at SUNY Geneseo. I warmly remember her pep talks and the lessons that she taught be through them as a young professional starting out at the college.
She will be missed.
