Sunday, May 12, 2019Very sorry for your loss. I, too, remember Don with affection. He was a wonderful guy, and never worried about breaking the artificial barrier between teacher and students by showing his humor and humanity. In doing so, he was one of those who made it easy to go to school every day. P.S. Very nice to see the notes from some of my other great teachers here

Friday, May 10, 2019I remember Don well and I always enjoyed him as a teacher. He was a very kind and gentle person, and I have no doubt that he will be missed by his family. He sought the greatest revenge on the retirement system by living long, and I hope well.

Friday, May 10, 2019Don was a longtime friend of our family spending many hours at our home. He emanated kindness and gentleness in everything he did. I will never forget how awestruck he was when I knitted him a sweater. Our condolences and prayers are with you Joan, Marian and Janet. We were blessed to have had a nice visit with him last week.

Friday, May 10, 2019Our deepest condolences at this difficult time. May peace and comfort come from above... Psalms 23 "The LORD is my Shepherd. I shall not want. In grassy pastures he makes me lie down; He leads me to well-watered resting-place. Though I walk in the valley of deep shadow, I fear no harm, for you are with me."
