Obituary of Arlene Brown Parry

Arlene Brown Parry, age 86, of Geneseo, died Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the St. Ann's Home in Rochester, NY. She was a long-time resident of Franklin St. in Geneseo and later Morgan Estates.

She is survived by her son, Douglas (Pamela) Parry of Loxahatchee, FL, grandchildren, Tyler (Danielle) Parry of Eden Prairie, MN, Spencer and Kelsey Parry both of Loxahatchee, FL, great grandson, Benjamin Parry of MN, many nieces and nephews.

Arlene was born in the Wadsworth Homestead Gatehouse, April 6, 1932 in Geneseo the daughter of Robert and Agnes Kennedy Brown. She was a Past Matron and Secretary of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 481. Arlene worked as an Operator for Rochester Telephone when they were located on Highland Rd. in Geneseo. She was a member of the Pioneers of America through the Rochester Telephone Company. Arlene also taught for BOCES at the Holcomb Campus in Geneseo.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Funeral Services will follow visitation at 7 PM. Interment will be in Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo.
