Gary, Terry, David & family, it is with a heavy heart that we offer you are deepest sympathy. Cliffy was a terrific man. Dan, Tyler, Shane and I have such fond memories of Clif & Dort as our neighbors on Westview. They were like grandparents to my boys often inviting them into the house for Dort's cookies or just to chat. My very first memory of Clif is the weekend we moved into our house in2000 we didn't have a mower yet. We asked
Clif if we could borrow his that week until we bought one. We went out for a few hours that afternoon and retunrned to find that Clif had mowed our lawn for us. He sometimes would shovel our driveway while we were at work so we would be able to get in the driveway when we got home. I also remember him at the age of 85 up on the roof cleaning out his gutters. He had a huge heart and a great smile. I'm glad that he and his beloved Dort are together again and hope he can again enjoy his favorite black jellybeans. Peace and love to you all. Danny, Jackie, Tyler & Shane Carman

Forever will remember Cliff driving the antique fire truck in Geneseo's Memorial Day Parade. I am grateful for the gift of knowing Cliff and Dort at Central Presbyterian and living across the street from them on Westview. Such wonderful people. My son, Peter, and he shared a birthday, as did two other Westview church members. I smile over the memories.

As I sit here on a Sunday afternoon, I remember our weekly Sunday afternoon family trips to visit our grandparents. Grandpa Cliff shared so many simple pleasures with us for so many years--like games of jarts in the backyard, eating Grandma Dort's rigatoni, or playing games of pool at Morgan Estates. We all miss him but know that he is now reunited with Grandma Dort, and we hope that he can eat whatever he wants in Heaven!
Love,
Jon (and Mary Ann and Eleanor) Alger

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Cliff. He was a fun guy to talk to esp on Memorial Day every year he would drive the 1952 Mack in the parade I would always be the person that would ride down with him. So Sad the year i was asked to drive because he was no longer able to. RIP Cliff

Dear Gary, Terry and David;
So sorry to learn of your dad's passing. If I recall correctly from high school, Gary and Terry closely resemble him. We (Holly Harvey & I) still have our dad, Jack, who is 95 in Feb. and appears 35 years younger Its always too soon. God bless you and keep you, and make his countenance to shine upon you.
Sincerly, Sharon Hewitt

Cliff & Dot are memories from my early years in Geneseo and when Dot worked at the Star Market with Bill Marks. It's so great that they were able to be together for so long on earth and now together again in Heaven. My sympathy to all you who survived; it's haard to lose parents anytime.
