I met Tom close to 30 years ago not long after he launched Warbirds and Warriors. I was astounded at the collection of books he had, and he knew pretty much what was in each book.
Over the years my admiration for Tom's knowledge of local as well as Civil War history grew, and he was wiling to share that knowledge, as he did in many talks.
He will be missed.

I was truly saddened to learn of Tom's passing. His many contributions over the years in promoting history in Leicester and the surrounding area has earned the respect of all of us involved in similar pursuits. I am most impressed with his success in adding numerous properties to the National and State Registers of Historic Places. Tom ill be missed by all of us.
