Obituary of John R. Emmet Houston

John Robert Emmet Houston, age 54, of Geneseo, died Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his life partner, Dave "Davy" Hebron III, parents, Honorable J. Robert and Judith C. Houston, siblings, Gertrude, Seamus and Eleanor. He is survived by his sister, Kathleen (Soren Thomas) Houston of Geneseo, nieces and nephew, Felicity, Kate, Isabelle, James and Poppy, several close cousins and the Hebron Family of Jena, LA. John was born October 11, 1961 in Rochester, NY the son of the Honorable J. Robert and Judith Chandler Houston. No prior calling hours. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Teresa House, 21 Highland Rd., Geneseo, NY 14454.
