Ernie, you were one of the kindest, most generous and funniest people I have ever had the good fortune of knowing. I will remember you always, for your compassion towards both people and animals. You looked out for so many people in your life and asked for little in return. Though there were many miles between us, I always knew you well taken care of with Sue by your side. Rest now, my hard-working friend, and I will watch after Sue for you as best I can. Thank you for making my world a better place because you were in it. I love you.
