Dear Karen,
I remember your Dad on visits to your farm when we were both little and best friends in elementary school. He was such a nice man to us and helped us have a swim in your pond. I send my sympathy to your mother, who was always welcoming, as well, and to your entire family. I know how terribly hard it is to lose a parent. Love, Heather
