Obituary of Jean R. Twidale

Jean M. Twidale, 85, of Geneseo, died Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris. Mrs.Twidale was a longtime resident of Stuyvesant Manor in Geneseo. She was predeceased by her sister Dora McBirnie of Toronto. She is survived by her husband, Frank T. Twidale, a resident at the Livingston County CNR in Mt. Morris, 2 daughters, Heather (Bruce) Twidale Kennedy of Centennial, CO, Amy (Mario) Ferro of Red Bank, NJ, grandson, Nicholson Twidale Kennedy of Centennial, CO, sister, Ruth (Allan) Fullbrook of Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, and 16 nieces and nephews. Jean was born December 4, 1926 in L'Archeveque, Nova Scotia, Canada, the daughter of Daniel and Jane Elizabeth Urquhart MacKillop. She was retired from the Allstate Insurance Company in Rochester where she worked as office manager. Jean was a longtime member of St. Michael's Church in Geneseo, and a 40-year member of Monday Evening Class of Geneseo. The family would like to acknowledge the staff at the Livingston County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mt. Morris for the wonderful care provided to Jean throughout her stay at their facility. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Friday from 4-7 PM. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 10 AM at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Geneseo with Rev. Eric Thompson officiating.
