Only met him once but knew him for 15 years. The one thing I can say is he died as he lived. Full of life. My thoughts and prayers are with the kids and grandkids. I know how much he will be missed.

I'm so sorry to hear about Shine! He was such a great man! I'm one of his 8th grade science students and my Mom who is 89 now worked in the main office at Mt. Morris Central. He was such a joy to know, laughter and kindness was his life as we knew him. I will never forget him and I will think of him often with a smile on my face! My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you, he'll truely be missed by all that knew him! Debbie

Pat/Theresa & family....if I remember right the first time I encountered your father was in the old Jackson house and it was holloween. We walked up to the front door of that house for treats and he opened the door and jumped out at us.........scared us to death!! After that my brother and cousins would all argue over who was going to knock on the door every holloween after that. Then when you moved to the old Piffard house.....on holloween we didn't dare even go up there.....this was the first memory that comes to mind. Hopefully the memories will brighten the sad moments for you.....memories help me when I'm missing my brother...take care.
