Peter J. Maloney, age 77, of Geneseo, died Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, Varlan and Jean Maloney.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy "Kitty" Cuminale, his daughters, Bridget Maloney of GA, Sheila (Sam) Marroquin of Rochester, Samantha Dale of Leicester, Erin Maloney of Buffalo, Molly Maloney of New York City and Abby Maloney of Geneseo, grandchildren, Taylor and Jamie Marroquin, Jaelyn and Juddsen Fanaro, brothers, Michael (Clare) Maloney of Geneseo, Robin (Linda) Maloney of Leicester, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Peter was born November 1, 1947 in Rochester, NY the son of Varlan and Jean Potter Maloney. He was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Pete worked for the Laborers Union in Rochester for over 25 years. He also drove trucks for many local farms. Pete was a longtime member of the Geneseo Fire and Ambulance Departments.

No prior calling hours. Memorial Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Geneseo.
