Alberta S. Dunn, age 85, of Geneseo, died Thursday, April 25, 2024 at the Episcopal Church Home in Rochester, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter William Dunn II.

She is survived by her children, Walter William (Samantha) Dunn III of Milton, FL, Dianne (Jason Zirgulis) Van Dorn of Nunda, grandchildren, Lovin Marie (Robert) Crutchfield, Kyler and Cheyenne Dunn, Cody, Kristen and Cooper Van Dorn, Kaylee Zirgulis, sister, Loraine Krueger of Webster and many cousins.

Alberta was born January 25, 1939 in Rochester, NY the daughter of Arthur and Winifred Scutt Sheldon. She retired from Honeoye Central School after many dedicated years as the High School Librarian. Alberta was a longtime member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Geneseo.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 10 AM at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Geneseo with Rev. Michael Laver officiating. Burial will be in Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo.
