Obituary of W. Harold Stewart

W. Harold Stewart, age 89, of Geneseo, passed away peacefully Monday, February 5, 2024 at his residence. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Clifford Stewart, brother, J.C. Stewart and sister, Nancy Rowcliffe.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Kathleen Stewart, daughters, Audrey (Keith) Rachunok, Ami (Rod) Harris, grandchildren, Luke and Jesse Harris, Alexandra Rachuok, sister in law, Milly Stewart, brother in law, Mark Rowcliffe, several nieces and nephews.

Harold was born October 4, 1934 in Geneseo, NY the son of Clifford and Mary Baize Stewart. He graduated from Geneseo Central School in 1952. He served two years in the US Army, stationed in Germany and was honorably discharged as E-7 Sargent 1st class. After serving his country he attended and Graduated with an Associate's Degree in Agricultural Science from Alfred University. Harold successfully owned and operated Williamsburg Dairy Farm in Geneseo for many years. He also served his community as Town Councilman, and as Geneseo Town Supervisor.

No prior calling hours. His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 11 AM at the Central Presbyterian Church, 31 Center St. in Geneseo with Rev. Laurie Tiberi officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be in Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo.
