Our condolences to all the family. I worked for Harold for a year 92-93. I enjoyed working for him. He was a smart business man and had a successful dairy. He was a generous, helpful, and giving man too. He'll be missed!

The photo of the barn brings back memories for me as a small child visiting Uncle Harold's farm. After being accosted by his cows and their very large tongues watching my hand disappear into their mouth while Uncle Harold laughed, we watched him talk his cows into the milking room sweet talking each by name. It was amazing to watch his fully automated barn in action.
My brother's and I later returned to the farm to attempt to get my dad's old Chevy running. We successfully rolled it down the hill to another resting place.
Years later Uncle Harold visited us bringing my dad's old guns and the truck to Nevada. It was too far gone to restore it.
He later returned to Nevada to honor my bride and I with signing our marriage license. Must have been good luck because we've been happily married for 25 years.
It's unfortunate that life keeps us from our claims of not letting too much time pass before visiting again. As much as we intended we never made it back to visit him and the family.
You were an amazing man that accomplished many great deeds and you will be greatly missed by my family.
Rest in peace Uncle Harold we love you.

I was saddened to learn of Harold's passing. I can't even remember how long we have known each other. He always had a smile on his face, was always open to conversation and questions, and gave me great advice on numerous occasions. I shall miss seeing him. My deepest condolences go out to Kathy and his family.

If there is to be an example of a true gentleman, it would be Mr. Harold Stewart. I met him on occasion with my work through the Genesee Valley Penny Saver many years ago. He was the ultimate in kindness. He once told me about his wife and how hard she works on their lawn. As I live down the road from their beautiful home/lawn when I drive by in the spring, sure enough she is out there working away on the prettiest yellow flowers. I extend my sincere sympathy to all of Mr. Harold Stewart's family. What a wonderful man!
