Dear Family and Friends of Betsy,
It is with deep sympathy that I learned of the passing of Betsy. I went to high school with her, and fondly remember her as a fun person to be around. Fun with a little mischief thrown in for good measure. Her laugh was infectious! I can still hear it after all these many years.
I lost touch with Betsy following high school as I married and reside in the Midwest. However, we reconnected at a class reunion in the '90's. Following that, I received a letter from her in which she wrote of her family and how proud she was of each of them. It was quite obvious she was a very devoted wife and mother.
Without a doubt, Betsy was welcomed into heaven with open arms by her Lord and Savior. Dance with the angels now, dear Betsy.
With my condolences,

Dear Family and Friends of Betsy,
I consider myself fortunate to have known Betsy from our years as classmates at Geneseo Central School, Class of '61.
Betsy was a fun person to be around, with a tad of mischief thrown in for good measure. She was her own person, a very likeable one who I didn't reconnect with until after one of our class reunions in the '90's.
Betsy wrote me a letter soon after...a letter in which she excitedly told me about her growing family. She was extremely proud of them all.
It is with my deepest sympathy to all of those who knew her that I send my condolences, especially to her family of whom she was so proud and devoted.
Sincerely,
Jayne Riesch Schrank

To Joe, all of his family, and all of the Ryans, we share your loss. Betsy was as much to all of us who grew up in Geneseo as the Bronze Bear. My memory of her is that she always had an infectious smile and greeting whenever you saw her. In recent years she struggled with her declining health ande had the same approach that she was not going to let this change her. Paraphrasing Cher, I can hear her now counseling all by saying: "snap out of it". All are in my prayers as I know all too well, having lost my sister and brother too soon, how you are feeling at this moment. Betsy was one of a kind, and someone too gentle in the coarseness of contemporary society.
