We were so sorry to hear of Jack's passing but know he had been suffering for awhile. He & Connie stood up with us when we got married many years ago as Connie was my childhood friend. Nedra, Jack's mother was a nursing friend of my mother's so this goes back quite a few years. We'll always have great memories & fun sharing them with the girls Kim & Dawn. Blessings to you all. I was very saddened to hear about the passing of this incredible man. I had the pleasure of working with Jack on many construction projects over the years and Jack was always very professional, patient and kind. His construction knowledge was beyond imaginable. He also had a great sense of humor and I truly looked forward to visiting him on the jobsites. My deepest sympathies go out to you family.

What a beautiful tribute to the fine, happy man we have known but have not seen in a long time. We are Robert and Michele Donovan who live on Sand Hill Rd. in Mt. Morris in the first "House that Jack built." He use to stop once or twice a year to see how things were holding up, and if he could do anything for us.
Our sincere sympathy to you, his family on the loss of a very special person. God's care to all!

Hi Michele, thank you for the kind words. Dad was so proud of that house and so happy it was in good hands. My sister and I have many happy memories there. I drive by it often as well. I believe i had your nephew Evan as a student and he told.me you lived there. Thank you again ❤

Dave & Rosie, thank you so much for the kind words.I remember spending a lot of time at your house with Mom and Dad as you were all such good friends.there is certainly a long list of homes "that Jack built" and he put his heart and soul into every one of them. It was something he loved to do. He cherished your friendship ❤

Jack was a long time family friend. He did a lot of work on our farmhouse on MacIntyre Rd., and taught me some construction tips when I watched. :When he was working for Spoleta Const. in 1987 he asked me if I wanted a job with them and set up an interview. I ended up working there for over 15 years. He will be missed.

My most heartfelt Condolences to all of Jacks family.
He was so awesome! I loved when he would call to schedule some materials for projects he'd be working on, such a great person. He will be missed.
RIP Jack.
