I had Mr. Price in 5th grade. (This was the year he retired.) I remember him as a hilarious man with the best sense of humor!! I remember the sign on his door that read "The Price is Always Right." During tests, when we were all focused, he would randomly walk up behind us and drop a pile of encyclopedias, or throw the random bouncy ball. I do remember his dead cat Earl as well, that dead cat was always causing mischief! On his last day, he dumped the right hand bottom drawer of his desk out, which contained all of the bouncy balls and we got to keep what we caught! He taught with genuine love, admiration and humility. He was one of my most favorite elementary teachers! My sincere condolences to all of his loved ones. All of us that were blessed enough to have him as a teacher will fondly remember the amazing memories we made with him. ❤ May he rest in peace.

I remember the proud day that my name went on the board as a “penguin” when I finally beat him in checkers. His dead cat Earl was always a treat to see flying across the room. And when I wear a hooded sweatshirt I still sometimes think of the confetti that might get put in there. Mr Price was one of my favorite teachers. My condolences and prayers to the family. - Josie Lehman- 5th grade student in 1987/88

Dear Dianne, and your family
I was so surprised and saddened to read of Terry's death. We have kind of lost touch over the years but I still remember all the wonderful memories. Geneseo has remained an important part of my life and you two were a big part of it.
I know you are probably feeling lost right now. You two have been together for a long, long time and it will be hard. But the faith you two shared will keep you hopeful for that day when you will be together again.
I read this quote somewhere and it struck home when my mom died. "When someone you love becomes a memory, your memories become your treasures." You have a treasure chest of memories. When you are feeling sad and lost, open your treasure chest and remember. Sometimes you will cry and sometimes you will laugh.
Take care, my friend.
Love,
Sister Kathleen O'Connell

Terry was my mentor as he trained me for pastoral care and verging. I was nervous but not fearful because of his faith. Be at peace, Terry, my teacher and friend.
