Obituary of Stanley J. Lubanski Jr.

Stanley J. Lubanski, Jr., age 83, of Leicester, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 18, 2020 at his residence. He was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Margaret Lubanski Sr., brother, Donald Lubanski and sister, Marlise Burden. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, children, Dawn (Randy Burdick) Lubanski, Lisa (Robert) Semmel, Mark (Jennifer) Lubanski, grandchildren, Philip, Gabrielle, James (Amanda and Vanessa), Joseph (Megan), Erica, Troy and Kimberly, siblings, Leslie, William (Linda), Earl (Barb) Lubanski, Karen (James) Kennedy, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Stanley was born April 19, 1937 in Cuylerville, NY the son of Stanley J. and Margaret Eggert Lubanski Sr. He was a US Army Veteran serving during the Cold War. Stanley and Nancy were married on May 11, 1963. He worked for AKZO Nobel Salt Mine in Retsof for over 30 years until his retirement. Stanley was a 50 year member of the Leicester Fire Department. He was also a member of the York VFW Post 634 and Geneseo VFW Post 5005. The family would like to thank Livingston County Hospice for Stanley's excellent care. Graveside Services with Full Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 11 AM at St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo with Father Jeff Tunnicliff officiating.
