Obituary of Joan K. Frisiras

Joan K. Frisiras, age 75, of Geneseo, died Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Yianoula Kondostolis, brother, Emmanuelle and sister, Sophia. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Frisiras, sons, Chris (Christine) Frisiras of Portland, OR, John (Melissa) Frisiras of Pittsburg, PA, granddaughters, Catherine and Caroline Frisiras both of Portland, OR, sisters, Tasoula and Vasilia both of Greece. Joan was born September 1, 1944 in Geronda, Greece the daughter of John and Yianoula Kondostolis. Joan and Tom owned and operated Frisiras Dry Cleaners in Dansville for many years until their retirement. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Funeral Services will follow visitation at 7 PM. Graveside Service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 11 AM at Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo. Donations in Joan's honor may be made to the Teresa House, 21 Highland Rd., Geneseo, NY 14454.
