Obituary of Robert B. Moses

Robert B. Moses, age 83, of Geneseo, died Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his wife Nancy Marks Moses and granddaughter, Tristin Moses. He is survived by his children, Craig (Laurie Van Sickle) Moses of Geneseo, Shawn (Pamela) Moses of Groveland, Paula (Alan) Flickner of Geneseo, Dana (Susan) Moses of Avon Lake, OH, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, brother, Ken (Toni) Moses of Geneseo, daughter in law, Christine Moses of Geneseo, sisters in law, Lorraine Hasper of Belfast, NY, Donna Davis of Geneseo, Shirley (Stephen) Gallew of Mt. Morris, Lorna Neglia of Livonia, many nieces and nephews. Robert was born April 30, 1936 in Rochester, NY the son of Hubert and Catherine McKay Moses. He graduated in 1954 from Lima High School. He opened and operated Geneseo Collision from 1960 to 1999. Bob was a founding member of the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo. He served on the Geneseo Town Board for many years. Bob also enjoyed playing the base for the local band EZ Money in his spare time. Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 4-8 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 11 AM at Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo with Rev. Michelle Sumption officiating.
