Obituary of Cheryl L. Taft

Cheryl Lynn Taft, age 62, of Lake St. in Scottsburg, died Sunday, December 22, 2019 at her residence. She was predeceased by her daughter, Katie Lynn Taft, Parents, Merle and Helen Joy, brothers, Tim and Ricky Joy. She is survived by her husband, Thomas "Tucker" Taft, bother, Marv (Vicki) Armendinger of FL, sister in law, Joanne Joy of Perry, several nieces and nephews and great nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cheryl was born September 3, 1957 in Warsaw, NY, the daughter of Merle and Helen Armendinger Joy. She was employed at Memories Restaurant & Bar in Warsaw. Cheryl always put her family first in everything she did. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2019 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Memorial Services will follow visitation at 7 PM with Lucille Kane officiating. Private interment will be in Union Cemetery in Scottsburg.
