Obituary of James E. McDonald

James E. McDonald, age 70, of Piffard, died Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Marjorie McDonald, brother, Bernard McDonald and sister, Bobbie Pagan.

He is survived by his significant other, Kim Day and her son, Thomas (Beth) Pacheco all of Piffard, sister, Mary Bliffen of Greece, many nieces and nephews.

Jim was born November 3, 1948 in Rochester, NY the son of John and Marjorie Godin McDonald. He was a graduate of Madison High School in Rochester. Jim was employed by the Rochester Psychiatric Center as an Assistant in the Maintenance Department for over 30 years.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 2-4 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Funeral Services will follow visitation at 4 PM. Burial will be private in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York.
