Obituary of Gean R. Rigney

Gean R. Rigney, age 86, of Leicester, died Friday, May 17, 2019 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, John "Jack" Rigney in 2006, son, Philip Rigney in 1984 and infant daughter, Jacqueline Gean Rigney. She is survived by her son, Richard Rigney of Leicester, daughter in law, Patti Hammel of TX, grandchildren, Scott (Marcie) Rigney of Nunda, Matt (Becca) Isaman of Pittsford, Todd (Carrie) Isaman of Nunda, Crystal Rigney of TX, great grandchildren, Belle and Tyson Rigney, Vivian and Braelyn Isaman, Jaden Rodriguez, Destiny Montes, several nieces and nephews. Gean was born February 25, 1933 in Elmira, NY the daughter of Harry I. and Celia M. Moffat Robb. She was a graduate of the Rochester Business Institute and retired from BOCES in Mt. Morris as Payroll Supervisor. No prior calling hours. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 10 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 175 Main St. in Leicester. Burial will be in Leicester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Teresa House, 21 Highland Rd., Geneseo, NY 14454.
