Although I did not know Erika for very long, I remember her as a kind, caring, lovely woman. It was such a pleasure to sit with her and listen to her talk about the things she loved most: her family, music and her books (and of course Liesel). She was funny, vital and interesting and will be missed. To her family and all her friends, my deep sympathy. Thinking of all of you.
