Obituary of Alan B. Cole

Alan B. Cole, age 74, of Wadsworth, entered into rest Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, Merle and Dorothy Cole, and brother, Richard Cole. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He enjoyed 52 beautiful years with his wife Patricia and together they raised and shared their life with two loving sons, Alan Scott Cole and Todd Cole. Todd’s wife Tammy was like a daughter to Al. She was special to him. More joy came when they became grandparents to Hailey and Eric. His favorite times were spent having fun with his family; golfing, fishing, and traveling. He so loved them and everything they did they did together.

Alan was born February 11, 1945 in Batavia, NY. He is the son of the late Merle and the late Dorothy Didget Cole.  Alan loved to golf and was known for his collection of golf clubs and always getting the latest and greatest. He was a member of Livingston Country Club and Caledonia Country Club.  Whether he was seen on the course or out in the community, he will be remembered by his sense of humor, his joke telling, and the fun he brought to those around him. Alan graduated from Batavia High School and worked in the union doing construction until 1985.  Following that, he and his wife Patricia got their real estate licenses and began working for Bucci Real Estate. Together, in 2000, they started their own business, A.B. Cole Real Estate, Inc., with their son Alan and it has grown into a very successful company in Geneseo.  Alan will be greatly missed by all that knew him but will never be forgotten.
