Obituary of John G. Pascuzzo

John Gilbert "Jack" Pascuzzo, age 88, of York, died Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Kellogg Pascuzzo , his son, Chris (Sylva Palmer) Pascuzzo of Retsof, his daughter, Cheryl (Joel) Shoemaker of Niagara Falls, grandchildren, Amie (Chad) Boggs, Kara (Ben) Nowak, William, Maxwell and Kathryn Shoemaker, great grandsons, Cody Boggs and Clive Nowak, many nieces and nephews.

John was born March 7, 1930 in York, NY the son of Thomas and Marion Gilbert Pascuzzo. He was a graduate of York Central School where he retired from in 1992 and was one of the first classes inducted into the schools Hall of Fame. Jack was a former member of the York Town Board, officer for the Retsof Hose Company and served the Ambulance Service for 15 years. He was also a Trustee at the Geneseo United Methodist Church. Jack loved to travel visiting many countries, National and State Parks including his favorite, Adirondack State Park. He also enjoyed sports, especially bowling and talking Politics.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 1-4 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 11 AM at the United Methodist Church in Geneseo with Rev. Keith Griswold officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York.
