Obituary of Betty M. Mulvaney

Betty M. Mulvaney, age 90, of Geneseo, died Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the Episcopal Church Home in Rochester, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, William Mulvaney in 2010, 1 great grandchild, 4 sisters and 5 brothers.

She is survived by her children, Thomas (Patricia) Mulvaney of FL, Timothy (Carol) Mulvaney of West Henrietta, Rose (James) Sicilia of NC, Nancy (James) Fusco of Avon, Daniel Mulvaney and Kathleen Rehberg both of Geneseo, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, sisters, Hilda Gibbons of Olean, NY and Martha (Roy) Winan of AZ, sisters in law, Jane Windsor of Livonia and Shirley Mulvaney of Conesus, many nieces and nephews.

Betty was born November 29, 1928 in Angelica, NY the daughter of William and Emma Haas Schmidt. She was a retired Nurse from the John Norris Treatment Center in Rochester. Betty was a longtime member of St. Mary's Church in Geneseo.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 8, 2018 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 1 PM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Avon.
