So sorry to read of your Mom's passing. All the memories of the Sunday picnics at State Park or Perch Pond came flooding back and what great memories they were. I truly my parents never had closer or better friends than Louie and Charolette

To the family of Charlotte (and Jim):
I am so saddened for you at the passing of your mother. Thank you for printing this in the Binghamton paper as I have so often thought of your parents and wondered about them. Your parents knew my grandparents when they lived in this area. When I went to college in Geneseo we made the connection and they took me under their wings. I will always love them for coming to get me and bringing me to their home the afternoon I learned that my grandfather had died. It still brings tears to my eyes. I have never forgotten their kindness to me that day or all of my time at college. May God keep you and may you find comfort in His care at this time. God Bless.

My sincere sympathy to you all at the passing of Charlotte. I so enjoyed working at the College in Geneseo with her and our family was truly blessed to have our Mom be with Charlotte at Morgan Estates Assisted Living in Geneseo. They became good friends and so enjoyed being at the same table in the dining area for their daily meals. Our Mom so many times talked about Charlotte and what interesting conversations they would have!!
With Best Regards, Kate Kingsley

I worked with Charlotte and Jim at SUNY Geneseo. They were both lovely, kind people. They were both very well thought of by all who knew them. I worked in the Graduate Dean's Office, while Charlotte was in Student Accounts and Jim in Facilities and Planning. This a a beautiful photo of them and brings back many wonderful memories.

Mrs Parmley, you were like a second Mom to me - always being upfront, strong, a true lady. You spoke your mind, and I always appreciated that. You were of a rare breed, and I will miss spending time with you and Anne, but I have some wonderful memories, thank you for being the woman you were❤️❤️
