Karl had, or I should say has, such a profound influence on my life. He helped me not only during the years we met regularly when crisis brought me to him, but more importantly he showed a new approach to learning and understanding God’s creation. I think it was through Karl I became familiar with, or at least it is in his voice I hear this passage from Oscar Wilde in De Profundis: “The final mystery is oneself. When one has weighed the sun in the balance, and measured the steps of the moon, and mapped out the seven heavens star by star, there still remains oneself. Who can calculate the orbit of his own soul?”
Karl, you are forever with me. I am grateful that life’s path led me your way. I love you my brother.

Karl was a wonderful man. He counseled me in some of the toughest years of my life and I will never forget him. He inspired me, encouraged me, guided me on a path that I could understand myself and embrace my troubles. I thank him until this day for his commitment, loyalty, his big heart and passion he carried for making a difference in this world. I know heaven gained a beautiful angel. ❤️ Thank you for how you touched my life. I am now blessed with the best family I could ask for and I know Karl played a big part in that.

A brilliant man. He changed the course of my life. I was under his treatment from 1987 to 1990 during a most difficult time in my life in my early 20's. He was challenging, compassionate, and highly skilled, I became social worker myself influenced by my deepest respect of Karl and his vision.. His impact was immeasurable. I can only imagine his profound impact upon all those he cared for. Karl certainly made the world a better place.
