Obituary of Annmarie M. Weyand

Annmarie M. Weyand, age 96, of Depew, died peacefully Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Elderwood Nursing Home in Williamsville, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Carlton D. Weyand in 1989.

She is survived by her Goddaughter and cousin, Rose (John) Linfoot of Geneseo, nieces and nephews, Guy (Helen) McConnell, Terry (Joan) McConnell, Kim McCoey and Tim McConnell all from the Buffalo area. In addition she is survived by her relatives living in Germany, sister in law, Brigitte Nos, nieces, Claudia Nos, Astrid Bremer, Dorothee Bodem, nephew, Karl-Peter Nos, dear friends, Barbara and Carl Janas, Nancy and Mark Musielak, Elaine and Paul Hersee.

Annmarie was born April 27, 1922 in Darmstadt, Germany to Dr. Freidrich and Cecelia Winkler Nos. She was a radio interpreter in London during WWII and later working for the US Strategic Bombing Survey in West Germany where she corresponded French, Spanish and German. Annmarie was employed in the US as Contract Administrator for International Accounts at Scott Aviation in Buffalo, NY. She also served as Treasurer for US Rubber Reclaiming Company in Buffalo and worked as Sales Manager at Lisk Savory Corporation, also in Buffalo.

No prior calling hours. Funeral Services will be held at the of Forrest Lawn Cemetery Chapel, 1411 Delaware Ave. in Buffalo on Friday August 10, 2018 at 11 AM with Pastor Krista Ulrich of the Ebenezer United Church of Christ officiating.
