Obituary of Heidi Heen

Heidi Heen, age 63, died in her home, Monday April 30th 2018. She was predeceased by her brother, Leif Heen.

She is survived by her mother, Martha Wadsworth of Geneseo, NY and father, Helge (Leslie) Heen of Rochester, NY, her daughter, Julia (Ryan) Ast and grandchild Avery Ast all of Rochester, NY, her sister, Sara (Peter) Scondras of Geneseo, NY, nephew Lee DeLaVergne of Gainesville, FL, her stepbrother, Bill (Rula) Clune of Ithaca NY, stepsister, Kristina (Jason Raduns) Heen of Lyndonville, NY as well as her uncle, W. Austin Wadsworth, her aunt, Sara Wood both of Geneseo, NY, and numerous cousins.

Heidi was born December 27th 1954, the daughter of Martha Wadsworth and Helge Heen. She graduated from the Harley School in Rochester, NY and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Hobart and William Smith in Geneva, NY. Heidi was an accomplished horsewoman and skier and worked in both fields. Later she returned to college and got her nursing degree at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY.

A Memorial Service was held to honor her life at the Christ Community Church in Geneseo, NY on May 10th 2018.
