Obituary of Linda D. Rutherford

Linda D. Schenk Rutherford, age 65, of Geneseo, died Sunday, April 29, 2018 at her residence. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Robert "Stan" Rutherford. She is survived by her brothers, Brian Schenk of Palmyra, NY, Kevin Schenk of Pittsford, David Schenk of Santee, CA, sisters, Andrea "Randi" Green of Macedon, NY, Tamara Paris of Vashon Island, WA, several nieces and nephews. Linda was born June 5, 1952 in Wayland, NY the daughter of Ward and Jacqueline Towner Schenk. She was employed as a Salesperson for Masline Electronics in Rochester. Although Linda was a deeply private person, she was treasured by her friends and family for her sharp wit and charismatic personality. Those lucky enough to experience her hospitality will never forget her beautiful home, her wonderful home cooking and her gift for making people feel welcome. She was deeply devoted to animal rescue and was often seen around Geneseo walking with her beloved canine friend, Clarence. No prior calling hours. Linda's Memorial Services were held privately at the convenience of her family and friends.
