Our prayers and condolences are with your family today. We remember Bill as a loving father, fun grandfather and the "friend at the lake." He and JoAn were always welcoming to any of our family to drop in for a relaxing, play day at the lake. Scenes of fireworks, boat rides, sunfish on the hook and Bill's steaks on the grill pop into our minds with each remembrance.

He sure did: Candles on the dining room table and our annual Christmas tradition of singing carols around all sorts of candles, some headless!
We miss you, Dad!
Love,

To Diane and Family ( a very special bunch parented by very special Mom and
Dad)-
With you, I give thanks for Bill's long and productive live, driven by his respect and concern for others, and his general passion for life and its riches.
Bill and I shared several committees, commissions and Session over a number of years at Central, primarily the Organ Committee, as we visited examples far and wide to discern the best possible that Central could afford Together with our church family, we rejoiced in the music it brought forth, and in the gifts of those who played it.
Bill was known to me as a man very generous of spirit, and very much a man of "live and let live" tolerance for others' points of view, lived and expressed in whatever ways those others felt possible.
I have often been very grateful for our friendship over the years, and at one point in her life, with Dianne with whom I shared a special understanding. Bill and Joanne created a wonderful family, and felt blessed to share that family and its many gifts with our church. Thanks to all of you, and especially for Bill.
Sincerely,
Stephanie Crissman

Prayers for Peace for Bill's family and friends. BIll was a great man with a big heart. He opened his doors to everyone with a smile and loved watching people have a good time. I will always remember "puttering" around Bill's yard with him, helping him with chores that "needed " to be done. His perpetual jazz will continue to repeat in my ears. The memories of the July 3rd Ring of Fire will always put a smile on my face. Bill, rest in peace faithful servant.

My prayers for peace to all of Bill's family and friends. He was a great man with a huge heart. He opened his doors to all and invited them in with a smile. He so enjoyed watching people having a good time. I will always remember working side by side with Bill puttering around his yard and of course the Ring of Fire every July 3rd. His perpetual jazz music will play on! You will be sadly missed but your memories will live on forever. RIP faithful servant.

Dad was the most decent human being as he was dying. He joked with the volunteers, aides, nurses, doctors and therapists as long as he was able. He showed his best side at a time many of us would have selfishly wallowed in self-pity.
It was an honor to assist Dad all the way to the end of his journey on earth. I will forever miss the man who was known to many as my father. To me, he was my friend!
