Obituary of Jean A. Mullin

Jean A. Mullin, age 93, of Geneseo, died Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Daniel Mullin in 1990.

She is survived by her two sons, Daniel and James Mullin both of Geneseo, 5 grandchildren, Chy Wooten, Rebecca, Emily, Aidan and Ella Mullin, sister, Mary Jane Baxter of Indianapolis, IN, several nieces and nephews.

Jean was born May 6, 1924 in Quincy, IL the daughter of James and Olive Elmslie Nielson. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Iowa. Jean was a member of the Geneseo Garden Club, Livingston Country Club and a longtime member of St. Mary's Church in Geneseo.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
