Obituary of Josephine F. Battaglia

Josephine F. Battaglia, age 81, of Temple Hill Acres in Geneseo, died Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Conesus Lake Nursing Home in Livonia, NY. She was predeceased by her sisters, Rosaline, Antoinette and Sara, brothers, Carmine and Samuel. She is survived by her sister, Mary Battaglia, niece, Barbara Battaglia and great niece, Ashton Battaglia all of Geneseo. Josephine was born November 3, 1936 in Geneseo, NY the daughter of Frank and Antoinette Sica Battaglia. She owned and operated her own hair salon for many years on Court St. and later in Temple Hill Acres in Geneseo. Josephine was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Church in Geneseo. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church in Geneseo. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd., Geneseo, NY 14454.
