Obituary of Yvonne F. Jacobs

Yvonne F. Jacobs, age 79, of Leicester, died Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband, John Jacobs, brother, Carmine Arrigenna and sister, Antoinette Mitrano. She is survived by her children, John Jacobs of Richmond, VA, Sandra (Chuck) Streb of York, Janet (Joe) Woroniecki of Wheatfield, NY, 7 grandchildren, Rachel and Kevin Jacobs, Chas, Jacob and Tanner Streb, Joseph and Nicholas Woroniecki, sisters, Dolores Kane of Geneseo, Veronica Temperato of Avon, sisters in law, Margaret Jacobs of Henrietta, Erma Jacobs of Perry, Angie Jacobs of Leicester, brother in law, Richard "Bud" Hamilton of Leicester, many nieces and nephews. Yvonne was born July 19, 1938 in Fowlerville, NY the daughter of Frank and Elsie Rodeghiero Arrigenna. She was the Leicester Town Clerk for many years before her retirement. Yvonne was a longtime member of St. Lucy's Church in Retsof and a member of the Image City Sound Chorus of Sweet Adelines International. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 10 AM at St. Lucy's Church in Retsof with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
