Obituary of William Arrigenna

William R. "Bill" Arrigenna, age 68, of Mt. Morris, formerly of York, died Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY.

Bill was born April 30, 1949 in Warsaw, NY the son of Carmen Arrigenna and Patricia Fanning Arrigenna. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. Bill retired from General Motors where he was a Machine Operator at Rochester Products. He was a lifelong outdoorsman; enjoying time in the field and with friends hunting, fishing and trapping. His skill and instinct with animals of all species was readily apparent to all those around him. He was an avid motorcyclist in his younger years and always had a Harley in the barn. He enjoyed sharing knowledge and advice with his children, grandchildren, cousins, hunt club members, friends, neighbors, and strangers lost on the road. His smile was contagious and his laugh would fill a room.

He is survived by his children, Steven (Kini Lopez de la Pez) Arrigenna of Madrid, Spain, Kristin (Anthony) Carmen of Milton, DE, Kerry Arrigenna of Avoca, Janis Arrigenna of Loveland, CO, 14 grandchildren, mother, Patricia (Dalford) Lee of Enid, OK, sister, Mary Jo (Tad) Dooley of Galva, KS, niece, Michelle Peres of Las Vegas, NV, nephew, Joshua Peres of Galva, KS, aunts, uncle and several cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo.
