Obituary of John T. Trathen

John T. Trathen, age 57, of Piffard, died Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Edwin and Joseph Trathen.

He is survived by his wife, Marcia, daughters, Jeanette Starr of Geneseo, April (Mark) Paille of Batavia, Heather (Jeremy) Slocum of Caledonia, Kristin (Jeff) Gallop of ME, grandchildren, Owen, Kristofer, Kameron, Caleb, Kaden, Jack, Cash, Aspen, sister, Darlene (Danny) Berry of Massena, NY, brothers, Richard Trathen of Cuylerville, Thomas (Laurie) Trathen of Piffard, several nieces and nephews.

John was born July 18, 1959 in Massena, NY the son of Thomas and Barbara Bordeau Trathen. He was the Operations Manager for Trathen Logging in York.

No prior calling hours. Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Mt. Ash Cemetery in Covington.
