To all of the Lynch Family,
I share with you our deepest condolences for your loss and hope that a lifetime of memories provides all of you comfort at this difficult time.
As you remember your father and grandfather you should know that the Lynch family made summers on Conesus Lake very special for so many children and families for so many many years. While the Deli is now gone a legacy was left behind by a building and family that stand in tribute to a different time.
For those children who grew up in the area they will remember walking those hot summer days against the warm breezes of Conesus to Margi's Deli after having begged parents and grandparents for a little pocket change. They would walk down a then narrow East Lake Road in their bare feet after Bazooka Bubble Gum, Fire Balls, a popsicle, or perhaps one of Lefty's donuts. As they chose their own paths to the store they would be thinking and talking about all the candy behind the glass counter display and hoping Lefty might not catch them in the store without wearing shoes. After tending to each young customer, which sometimes could mean spending several minutes helping with important selections, with a big smile Lefty would ask each kid "Is that all?"
Like so many others that have driven by that building from time to time I cannot help but think of the Lynch family. They made the long hours invested each day to make Margi's Deli what is was look so easy. They did it with a smile and made everyone feel welcomed.
Those memories will stay with me forever and I feel pretty darn lucky to be one of Margi and Lefty's "kids".
Rest in Peace Partner

I Got to know Lefty and Margie quite well in the selling I did for them of their LONGTIME Store "Margies" Deli on Conesus Lake, and then their home high on the Hill on Rt 256. You couldn't ask for nicer, more real, down to earth people. May they both RIP high in the heavens above looking down on us forever!!! With Love, Dave Gaylord Formerly Gaylord Real Estate, Inc. (I too Lefty always enjoyed you handing me a "Sinker" when I was their w/ my coffee!)

Dickie, John and Mike,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. As a kid back in the day I will always remember the kindness and friendship he gave me. Taking me and Dickie to the ice rink before he went to work and picking us up on the way home was a big deal. At the time my father was always working overtime and my mother did not drive. I would have never gone very far into the game without your dad's kind gestures. Afterward or on sleepovers he made the best sandwiches and meals. He was a great hockey dad and a great father. One just has to look at the fine family and sons he raised. I really regret not seeing him as an adult. Lefty will be in our prayers and will be missed by all.
