Obituary of Elizabeth A. Collins

Elizabeth A. Collins, age 70, of Stuyvesant Manor in Geneseo, died Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Teresa House in Geneseo. She is survived by her daughter, Cara Betz of Buffalo, grandchildren, Brandyn, Sara and Allyson Betz, sister, Susan Potenza of Geneseo, brother, David (Carol) Baer of Afton, VA, several nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was born February 10, 1947 in Buffalo, NY the daughter of Edward and Ruth Bickel Baer. She was a Physical Therapist for Kenmore Mercy Hospital in Buffalo until her retirement. Liz was on the Board of Directors for the Livingston County Historical Museum in Geneseo for many years. She was active in the Community Players and also at the Teresa House before her illness. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 5-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Funeral Services will follow visitation at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Livingston County Historical Society Museum, 30 Center St., Geneseo, NY 14454 or the Teresa House, 21 Highland Rd., Geneseo, NY 14454.
