Obituary of John M. Conklin

John M. Conklin, age 64, of Westview Crescent in Geneseo, died peacefully Sunday, September 25, 2016 at his residence. He was predeceased by his father, John J. Conklin. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Judith Conklin, his daughters, Megan Conklin of Geneseo, Amy (Jeremy) DeLisle of Antrim, NH, grandchildren, Annabelle and Griffin DeLisle, Emma and Silas Conklin, mother, Marion Conklin, brothers, Steven (Mary) Conklin, James Conklin all of Middletown, NY, several nieces and nephews. John was born December 30, 1951 in Middletown, NY the son of John J. and Marion Lewis Conklin. He received his Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Brockport and his Master's Degree from SUNY Geneseo. John was a long time employee of Rochester Institute of Technology in the Communications Department of NTID. He was a member of Geneseo Kiwanis serving as Past President. John enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a baseball fan and enjoyed his trips to Boston with the Boston Bears. John looked forward to Saturday morning breakfast with friends. He was an avid fisherman in his leisure time and cherished his yearly fishing trips to Canada. Friends may call on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Memorial Services will be Private at the convenience of the family.
