Obituary of Joan B. Sharp

Joan B. Sharp, age 64, of Rochester, died Monday, August 8, 2016 at her residence in North Chili, NY. She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Phyllis Brocklehurst. She is survived by her siblings, Gary (Nancy) Brocklehurst of Covington, LA, Dennis Brocklehurst of Line Lexington, PA, Julie (David) Brocklehurst-Woods of Geneseo, Kent (Rahima Eaton) Brocklehurst of Snowflake, AZ, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Joan was born July 20, 1952 in Jamestown, NY the daughter of Harry Francis and Phyllis Miller Brocklehurst. She earned her Master's Degree from Ohio State University. Joan was a Financial Analyst in Detroit, MI before moving to the Rochester area. She was a member of the Downtown United Presbyterian Church in Rochester. No prior calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 11 AM at the Central Presbyterian Church, 31 Center St. in Geneseo with Rev. Dr. Nancy Lowmaster officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity, 755 Culver Rd., Rochester, NY 14609 or the Downtown United Presbyterian Church, 121 N. Fitzhugh St., Rochester, NY 14614.
