Obituary of David E. Maher

David E. Maher, age 66, of Sutton Rd. in Avon, died Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, Blair and Mabel Maher. He is survived by his wife, Dawn Maher, son, Timothy (Nicole) Hicks of Naples, FL, canine companions, Sophie and Sadie, brother, Larry (Pam) Youngs-Maher of Baldwinsville, NY, niece, Marisa Youngs-Maher of Baldwinsville, NY, sister in law, Darlann (Carl) Kauffman of Mercersburg, PA, brother in law, Steven (Peggy) Orman of Saranac Lake, NY, several nieces and nephews in law. David was born June 21, 1950 in Oil City, PA the son of Blair and Mabel McDonough Maher. He was a US Army Vietnam Veteran. David was the top Commercial Salesman for Chase-Pitkin in Rochester for many years. No prior calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 1-4 PM at the Family Residence, 6091 Sutton Rd., Avon, NY 14414.
