Obituary of Flora J. Boyd

Flora J. Boyd, age 82, of Main St. in Wadsworth, died Sunday, April 24, 2016 at her residence. She was predeceased by her husband, Jerry Boyd Sr., son, Francis "Mooch" Boyd, brothers, Joseph and Richard "Nard" Cuozzo. She is survived by her children, Sybil (Jim) Hunt of York, Paula (Donnie) Jacobs of Leicester, Stephanie (Chad) Valentino of Leicester, Christine (Jim Landers) Boyd of Wadsworth, Jerry "Bub" (Jane) Boyd Jr. of Wadsworth, Larry (Teresa) Holbrook of Leicester, 12 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, sister, Mary Gibbs of Leicester, brother, Frank (Sharon) Cuozzo of Leicester, sister in law, Carol Cuozzo of Piffard, brother in law, Bill (Ginny) Boyd of Piffard, adopted son, Father George Okoth of Bethesda, MD, adopted daughter, Dawn Argenta of Leicester, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Flora was born April 17, 1934 in York, NY the daughter of Frank and Bridget "Sybil" Ferrando Cuozzo. She earned her Associates Degree from the Rochester Business Institute and was a receptionist at ATOCHEM in Piffard until her retirement. Flora was a long time member of St. Lucy's Church in Retsof. Friends may call Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 3-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Lucy's Church in Retsof with Father George Okoth officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Livingston County Hospice Fund, 2 Murray Hill Dr., Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
