Obituary of Ralph E. Knights

Ralph E. Knights, age 81, of William St. in Dansville, died Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his grandson, Damon Knights and sister, Mary Montemarano. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, children, Damon Knights of Geneseo, Dave (Alison) Knights of Dansville, Robert (Donna) Knights of Penfield, Bambi (Jim) Knights Hassman of Dansville, 8 grandchildren, Derrell (Bridgette) Knights, Trisha (Travis) Andrews, Katheryne Hassman, KelLee-Ann Hassman, Ashley, Lindsey, Laura and Benjamin Knights, 5 great grandchildren, sister, Linda (Harlan) Munn of Canandaigua, brothers, Kenneth Knights of Dansville, Gary (Ann) Knights of NC, several nieces and nephews. Ralph was born October 18, 1934 in Dansville, NY the son of Warren and Helen Cowley Knights. He was the last manager of the Castile on the Hill in Dansville and retired from Foster Wheeler in Dansville as a Foreman. He was a family man and a longtime member of St. Mary's Church in Geneseo. Friends may call Friday, April 15, 2016 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. His Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 2 PM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
