Dear Julia,
I am so very sorry for the loss of your Mom.
I will always remember your stories about your Mom’s career, and
her artistic talents. Now I know where you get your wonderful
artistic talents. Knowing you, has shown me that your Mom was
a loving, beautiful, caring person. My thoughts and prayers are with
you, and I wish you peace.

So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I have fond memories of her. I do remember watching her color, restore and paint those old photographs at the dining table. I also remember that she collected stamps as did I. I still have the stamps she shared with me. I also remember the delicious grape jelly she made from the grapes in your yard. I had no idea how jelly was made until I watched her. I still love to share the story of how she saved the play we wrote about John Sutter and gave it to Mr. Tadeo, our English teacher. I have so many more memories, but those are my favorite ones. I wish I could be there to help celebrate her life. Know that I will be there in spirit. Also know that I am sending tons of hugs. "Aunt" Woodie was my godmother and a very special person. I had the privilege of spending time with her at several stages of my life, the last when I invited her on a tour of Colorado. Her friends and family have the solace of knowing she lived a full life and was loved by many.

Aunt Arlene:
'Tis sad for this time to come. Thanks for the many cribbage games, spending time at the house and playing with "Little" Julia.
Rest In Peace.
Love,
Ray
