I just saw Mrs.Taylor's Obituary. I am so sorry that I did not know she passed away sooner. My husband and I became friends with Mr. and Mrs. Taylor when we all lived at Valley View Apartments. They were such a fun and loving couple. I will always remember going to their apartment visiting and having a fun time. I would see Mrs. Taylor walking or in the store and we would visit for a long time. My Children's high chair came from Mrs. Taylor. LOL. We lived in the apartment above them, we had no children at the time. Mrs Taylor saw someone throw a really nice wood high chair into the dumpster. She got it out and brought to me, told me to keep it for the day I have Children. That chair still sits in my dinning room. I am glad Mrs. Taylor was able to live a long happy life. I will never forget this wonderful lady! RIP Mrs. Taylor.

Sharon, Carol, and Barb,
I want to extend my condolences to you all...........Your mom was like a second mom to me for many years. I remember her patiently helping me learn to sew, and still think of her when I DO sew...("Remember, Betsy...the inside should look as neat as the outside.")...(Never did get the hang of that!) She was always gentle and kind, loving and warm, and I'm sure you'll all miss her greatly.
My mom is moving to Morgan Estates in a couple of weeks, and when I heard your mom lived there, I was thrilled to think that Mom would be able to enjoy her company and that I'd be able to see your mom again.....but God had other plans, and I'm sure you're all grateful to have had her for as long as you did.
I also recently learned about Mary Jo....I had heard that she was ill but had no idea that she died until recently........life can certainly be fragile.......
I hope you're all well and remember you all with great fondness.......
Love,
Betsy (Bishop) Turcotte

Carole,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. While difficult now, it is the great times that are to be remembered as often as possible. As I was told, and took comfort in, having a parent die at such an age is sorrowful, but not a tragedy.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mom was my neighbor for four years and a friend for nearly 29 years. It was a delight living on the apt. across the hall from your parents. I would invite my little nieces and nephews for the occasional weekend and your parents were always so sweet to them. Your mom would drop off snacks for them. I was glad to be able to stay in touch with your mom despite my many moves. I looked forward to her cards and letters, keeping me up to date on all things Geneseo. She wrote often of her children and grandchildren- she was so proud of you all. I wish you peace that comes with time and great memories.
Sincerely,
Maureen Smith Schloss

Dear Sharon,
I'm so saddened by the news of your mom's death. She was one of my favorite people and one who always remembered me when we met somewhere in town.
We are presently in Nevada visiting family near Henderson and won't return until April 1st, so sadly, I'll miss the calling hours and service for your mom. Please know that I'll be there in spirit. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Love and blessings,
Shirley
