Obituary of Elizabeth R. Dwyer

Elizabeth R. "Biddy" Dwyer, age 95, of Groveland Rd. in Geneseo, died Monday, March 7, 2016 at her residence. She was predeceased by her husband, James, son, Mark and sister, Jane Hamilton. She is survived by her children, David (Carol Carey) Dwyer of Geneseo, Ann (Mark) O'Neil of Hilton Head, SC, daughter-in-law, Bobbie (Peter Turner) Dwyer of Livonia, grandchildren, Erin (Domenick) Roma, Megan (David) Johnson, Colleen and Molly O'Neil, Kate (Ryan) Shand, John and Paul Dwyer, 7 great grandchildren, niece Jane (Dick) Hollister. Biddy was born September 14, 1920 in Rochester, NY the daughter of Harry and Ruth Bow Ritchie. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from the Geneseo Normal School. Biddy enjoyed her summers on Conesus Lake. She was a long time member of St. Mary's Church in Geneseo. Friends may call Friday, March 11, 2016 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
